The Farmer perk reduces the amount of food necessary for a battle. With the exception of dungeon levels, it works for any attack, including wars, ninja events, and festivals.

The Farmer perk simply reduces the amount of food by a percentage. If more than one Farmer perk is used, perk values are added up.
The full formula for food calculation is:
Food needed = original food needed x (100% – sum of all Farmer perks)
Max Cap[]
Max Farmer you can have is capped at 95%. No matter if the sum of multiple items will increase this percentage, it will be always reduced at 95%. This was needed to avoid to pay very little for a single raid (especially when using farmer tokens).
